What is happening in HBBA? This is an exciting topic. Yes, HBBA is growing and we are working hard to make it a better stronger organization. Growth so far has been organic growth. The growth that we have seen has been a result of individual members spreading the word. HBBA offers so much more than other network organization. Dollar for dollar we bring a much greater return on investment for the services we provide. Some things that you may have noticed are improvements to the website.
We have added training videos to teach chapter web managers how to control their content. We still have a lot of work to do in this area and are considering new options to make the site easier and better in the coming year. Features such as the ability to take control of your own profile, automated reporting and referral tracking and several administrative features to streamlining processes throughout HBBA are all being looked at to make your experience with HBBA the very best.
We have become much better at communication throughout the organization this year. More information has been posted on the website than in the past and we have organized the site by district making it more relevant. There are still some areas of communication that we are working to improve upon. Many people have inquired about the HBBA newsletter’s disappearance. Bob Jahnke is working with Cynthia Parma to setup a process that will get our newsletter back in action. Hopefully, we will see The Informer back in operation by the end of this year or early January.
Another area that we are looking at is virtual meetings and webinars on the internet. We are finding that even within districts that some chapters are quite a distance. Online meetings can allow remote participation and recording. This can be shared and archived for future reference.
In the end, HBBA is all about creating networking opportunities for you. If you would like more events, networking training, or leadership training for stronger chapters and districts, let you district leaders know this and we will help get that working for you.
