You may be noticing lots of things going on in HBBA. More and more people are getting excited and getting involved. Things are happening at a faster pace and HBBA is growing faster than ever. In the past, one of the major problems we had was communication from the Executive Board through to the individuals. I made communication my top priority while developing plans to manage the future.

The development and continued improvement of the HBBA website was the first step. Our original site used to be the first stop for members looking for other members and other resources. During the transition, many members stopped using this valuable resource and lost faith in it. Now it is up and running at full speed and getting better each day.

Another exciting change is the implementation of Google Documents into our reporting process. Membership, finances, referrals and much more can be tracked in near real time. Using this process, the website managers and district leaders will be able to receive live updates of changes throughout the district and respond faster than ever before. This streamlined process will make everyone’s efforts easier while saving time and effort.

Other things we are working on include more and better events, new more pertinent and informative chapter binders with online updates, online training videos, growth and growth management throughout HBBA, and so much more. HBBA is continuing to build its relations with other organizations. In a recent meeting with leaders of the Green Bay Chamber renewed interest was sparked with revelation of our growth and efforts in the community.

HBBA will continue to improve and find more ways to increase its value to chapters and their members. Most recently, AFLAC signed an agreement that would give all HBBA members access to their services in a way that paves the way for all businesses and members in HBBA to benefit. In the meantime, keep networking.
